THE DAY I DISCOVERED BLUE MASCARA

Tashika Bailey | The Day I Discovered Blue Mascara
Let me talk to you about the day I discovered blue mascara... It was about a year ago, I was walking through Tesco looking for a new mascara as I recently used mine up. After wondering for a while looking through all the different brands, I found myself fascinated by L'Oreal Paris' mega volume mascara. At that point, I literally fell in love with the design of this mascara and decided to buy it straight away. For some reason I didn't even bother to read the bottle nor did I test it out in-stores, I simply assumed that every mascara was black. Now I know what most of y'all are thinking the "miss manga" is in the color turquoise so I should of at least noticed, but honestly I thought it was just a nice design for the bottle. I had never seen a mascara in a color other than black before, I mean who wears colored mascara?

I discovered a huge surprise when I reached home, but I wasn't disappointed. Turquoise is one of my favorite colors but then again, I was confused by this product. I didn't know if I was supposed to wear it, what to wear it with or if it would suit me... But then I realized, I paid for this mascara and I wasn't about to let my £8.99 go to waste, with this a motivation I decided to rock it. At first, I thought purchasing this mascara was a mistake but I guess I knew what I was doing all along. Don't you think?

I love this mascara so much I had to re-purchase it once it ran out. I am now captivated by colored mascara, I recently bought the violet on in this brand which you can find here.

I finally tried my teal liquid eyeliner, which was featured in my first Mini Avon Beauty Haul post a few months ago. This is one of my favorite shades of blue and of course it caught my attention. I bought it as I was imagining my self rockin' it with my turquoise mascara and I now that I have brought that imagination to reality, I am overwhelmed with the striking results of these two products combined. I remember my teacher asking me if I've dyed my eye lashes, which made me laugh. Is that even possible loool.

What do you think does it suit me? Are you brave enough to try it? Let me know in the comments below.
